motives
purchase cancellation
According to article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code, for purchases made outside the commercial establishment, the consumer has up to 7 (seven) calendar days from receipt of the product to regret the purchase and notify the supplier of the cancellation. The product must be returned in its original packaging, without damage, without signs of consumption and accompanied by the invoice. Michael Scott Carter will only accept returned goods with prior contact. Formalize your request to regret the purchase by emailing hello@michaelscottcarter.com.
damaged product
If any irregularity is observed at the time of delivery, such as tampered packaging, damaged product or exchanged product, refuse delivery and make a complaint on the back of the invoice or proof of delivery explaining the reason for refusal and including the signature and CPF of the recipient, as well as the date of delivery. In order to replace or resend the order, it is essential that this notification is made immediately.
defect
If you identify a defect or change in the product after receiving it, the exchange request must be communicated within 30 (thirty) days after receipt. Please contact us by email at hello@michaelscottcarter.com so that we can proceed with the exchange of the product.
other motives
If the product received does not match the one purchased on the website, please contact us within 7 (seven) days of receipt. Use our customer service channel hello@michaelscottcarter.com.
return options

If you wish to return the product at the time of delivery, for one of the reasons stated above, inform the recipient's CPF and the delivery date on the back of the invoice or shipping acknowledgement and return the item to the delivery person along with the order.
after delivery
If damage is noticed after delivery, please notify our customer service center within 7 (seven) days from the date of receipt. The return process will be as follows:

1 – Delivery by post: You will receive a return code by email and must go to a post office for free postage.
2 – Delivery by carrier: After you notify our customer service center, we will schedule a collection of the product from your home with the carrier.
Note: Returns will only be accepted after notification and authorization from our customer service center.
refund
Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment.
credit card
If the purchase was made with a credit card, the refund will be made via a chargeback. The refund will be made and will appear on up to 2 subsequent invoices. After this period, contact your card issuer.
deposit into account
For refunds* of purchases made by bank slip or deposit, the amount will be returned to the account of the purchaser. If the purchaser does not have a bank account, it will be necessary to fill out a handwritten letter including full name and CPF so that the refund can be made to a third party's account.
*The refund of amounts will only occur after our logistics team has received and verified the condition of the product(s).
