We were born in Brazil and were inspired by this country of multiple cultures, great encounters, extraordinary beauty and constant prosperity. The story of the Michael Scott Carter Winery begins in Vale dos Vinhedos , in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, but spreads throughout the country.

 

We believe that the true essence of wine is not dictated by the grapes alone, but by the unique qualities extracted from the terroir. Brazilian soil is rich in minerals and nourished by the tropical sun, and with respect for the careful work of our collaborators, this gives the grapes a distinct flavor profile. Michael Scott Carter celebrates wine and Brazil in the same bottle by translating flavors that speak to the intrinsic characteristics of the country.
